Centre for Continuing Education-University of Sydney – Centre for Continuing Education-University of Sydney – The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), founded in 1984 by the University of Sydney, provides thousands of short courses across a broad range of areas. Many courses are run in the evening, ideal for working professionals who are keen to learn new skills, gain new insights or unleash creativity. From business and management to art history and languages, CCE courses are designed to develop skills and knowledge in any chosen professional, personal or academic area of interest.
Centre for Continuing Professional Development-Imperial College London – Imperial’s School of Professional Development supports the activities of all staff who teach College students through the Educational Development Unit (EDU), and also provides the Centre for Academic English. The broader education of Imperial’s undergraduates includes studies in the humanities, the social sciences, languages and business and is overseen by the Centre for Co-curricular Studies, which delivers the Imperial Horizons programme, and also offers postgraduate taught courses in Science Communication. Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education – A non-profit R&D institute powering inclusive innovation and leadership in education. The Institute is affiliated with the School of Leadership & Education Sciences at the University of San Diego, and engage in pioneering research and evaluation, development of innovative curriculum and technologies, and support professional learning grounded in the learning sciences. The mission is to foster inclusion, diversity and social justice in education.
Khan Academy – Offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. They tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Their math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. Lahore University of Management Sciences–Centre for Continuing Education Studies (CES) – Dedicated to extending educational opportunities to diverse learning communities in Pakistan. The programs, designed and delivered by industry experts and academics, are tailored to the needs and expectations of learners from various walks of life. Through an extensive range of courses, offered in a variety of fields and formats, CES seeks to support students, professionals and non-traditional learners to pursue their newly found interests, rediscover old passions, develop professional expertise, or simply expand their intellectual horizons.
Lake County School District Mobile Center – The Mobile Learning Center delivers essential school-based resources directly to Lake County neighbourhoods in order to ensure that students and families are supported in being healthy, happy, and successful. The intended outcomes of the program are increased access to resources that facilitate academic success, social connectedness, and improved wellbeing. 100% of families living in the outlying communities with limited or unreliable internet have access to the Learning Center at least once a week. At least 70% of students accessing the Learning Center utilize tutoring support during their time on the bus over the course of the grant cycle.
Learning Without Frontiers (LWF) – Founded by Graham Brown-Martin in 2004. The program brings together international leaders, policy makers and innovators from the education, technology and entertainment sectors to connect and engage in a new dialogue about the future of learning. Recognising how affordable, disruptive technologies challenge traditional approaches to industrial scale education the LWF community has taken a globally respected position of leadership in the use of mobile, gaming, social media, open source and other digital platforms to support learning. The discussion, however, is not about technology but how society is changing in the digital age and how our approach and platforms for learning reflect, embrace and respond to those changes.
Life Edu program – Aims to empower children and young people to make safer and healthier choices through education. The Life Ed Qld program has reached more than 1.5 million Queensland students over the past 30 years, empowering children to make safe and healthy choices. Their iconic mobile learning centres – sometimes referred to as Healthy Harold vans – are synonymous with the program.. As well as being the home of Healthy Harold, the custom-built mobile learning centres are equipped with state-of-the-art 3D technology and resources, enabling their team of educators to deliver the early learning and primary health education programs in the most engaging and impactful way.
LMLG–London Mobile Learning Group – Brings together an international, interdisciplinary group of researchers from the fields of cultural and media studies, sociology, (social) semiotics, pedagogy, educational technology, work-based learning and learning design. The group has developed a theoretical and conceptual framework for mobile learning around the notion of cultural ecology. The analytical engagement with mobile learning of the group takes the shape of a conceptual model in which educational uses of mobile technologies are viewed in ecological terms as part of a cultural and pedagogical context in transformation.
MoLeaP – The mobile learning project database is a public and free-of-charge online database for teachers, researchers and other (education) professionals interested in learning and teaching with mobile media.
MoLeNET–Mobile Learning Network – A network that encourages collaboration and support among mobile learning professionals. Their aim is to help develop mobile learning projects at higher education through corporate training. The MoLeNET team offers services in pedagogic advice, materials development, professional development, networking, research, evaluation, and more.
MoLeNET academy–Northampton College – In November 2009 Northampton College is one of only eight colleges in the country awarded MoLeNET academy status in recognition of the expertise which they have developed in Mobile Learning. As part of this they received capital funding to set up a dedicated Mobile Learning Continual Professional Development (CPD) centre. The Academy is a centre of excellence for Mobile Learning CPD, and will help to support two new MoLeNET Phase 3 micro projects (at Portland College , Mansfield College and Dearne Valley College) and will contribute to a Mobile Learning capacity building in the English FE sector. The Academy is based in Northampton College at Daventry, where they offer internal and external CPD events, in conjunction with both MoLeNET and the JISC East Midlands RSC. The Academy provision is fully mobile and as such they will also be able to offer courses off site as requested.
School of Education (SOE) at the Johns Hopkins University–New Horizons for Learning (NHFL) – Since 1980 has served as a leading-edge resource for educational change by identifying, communicating, and helping to implement successful educational strategies. Concerned that important research was not reaching most classrooms, founder Dee Dickinson decided to create a network to reach teachers with new information she would have loved to have when she was in the classroom. NHFL’s role has always been to give visibility to effective teaching and learning practices and ideas that have not yet reached the mainstream, and to work in coordination with other reputable networks and learning communities to synthesize the information, turn information into knowledge and knowledge into practice.

UNESCO–ICT in Education – Is working to help governments and individuals use mobile devices to advance Education for All Goals; respond to the challenges of particular educational contexts; supplement and enrich formal schooling; and, in general, make learning more accessible, equitable and flexible for students everywhere.
Western Colorado Community College–Mobile Learning Lab – The future of machining is making its way to Western Colorado Community College and rural communities on the Western Slope, thanks to a generous gift made by the Sturm Family and ANB Bank. The donation, which totalled nearly half a million dollars, went to building a state-of-the-art mobile learning lab. The 53-feet-long, 8-feet-wide classroom will offer mechatronics courses to high school students, adult learners and employees enrolled in company training. The mobile learning lab is able to travel throughout Colorado and can make stops in rural communities of all sizes. Students will gain an understanding of how separate systems work together to make complex devices operate, and will learn how to build, fix and run these systems.
